1996 Z28 A/C and fans quit working

OK so I went to get my car inspected today. I pull in and the A/C is blowing cold and no sevice engine or check gauges lights are on. I get back in the car after the inspection and drive two blocks the A/C is not blowing cold and the sevice engine light is on along with the check gauges light. Look down and the temp is in the red. Pop the hood and fans are not running, checked fuses all good. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

First thing to do is scan it to find out what the service engine light is about.

Also check your fan actuator fuse in the car and fan relay in the fuse box under the hood.
