Right I hear ya but why buy two different sets of fuel injectors if I can use the stock ones on the current set up I have. (LE2 heads, long tube headers, LE2 cam, 58mm tb, bored intake, 3.73 gears, 1.6 rr, shift kit, yank ss3600 stall, MSD ignition, and K&N CAI.) Can I use the stock fuel injectors safely?

The injectors are sized for the horsepower output of the engine. Reusing the stock injectors with your setup will seriously limit your power.

No, you can't use the stock injectors with your setup...

Re: 1996 camaro lt1 build questions

The stock injectors (programmed at 24.9 #/HR) are good for about 360 flywheel HP. Could make a bit more or less, depending on the efficiency of the combustion chambers and the efficiency of the tune. Push the fuel pressure up to 4 bar (58psi - I wouldn't take a stock injector higher than that) and you could push it up to 410HP at the flywheel. Your setup should easily exceed those numbers. Run it lean, and detonate = severe damage to rings, pistons and heads.

Buy the correct injectors.... figure $350. Then sell them when you need to upgrade. I doubt you would lose more than 1/2 of their original cost.
