Hello all, im new here so please bear with me
im thinking about trading for a 1994 z28 with 350 5.7 and ive seen a few sites withfuel mileage but not sure if its true or a lie. So from your personal experiance what do you get ? and what add ons did you have ? also is it a good engine and car ?

 

My car gets about 16 mpg with mod in my signature.....average is around 18 mpg on a stock camaro. a little less if you have a heavy foot. www.fueleconomy.gov
list the camaro Z28 @15-22 mpg. combined @18 mpg ..... I have seen a lot of people claim to get
30mpg hwy ????? on a M6 camaro

 

on mine stock was getting 24 on highway and 18+ city. Ive heard of a few people with proper tuning getting 28 on highway.

Standard 6 speed or auto? The manuals squeeze a couple extra mpg.

My 95 z28 auto fetches 18-23 fairly bone stock, AC deleted.

 

with the mods in my sig. average highway is 24, average city is 16.

 

everyones driving style is different, and will drastically affect mpg.

mine was a 383 that ran 11's at the track, and I got 18-20mpg driving the car everyday half freeway, half street driving. thats also with a 3800 stall conv. but I did have a manual lockup switch for the freeway driving. which cut rpms down like 350rpm I believe on a steady cruise speed.

 

I have a 95 convertible with the 6 speed and get about 18 mpg around town and have gotten as high as 31 mpg on the freeway (low aerodynamic drag on the fourth generation).
