1994 headers in a 1993 Z

Hey.
I found 94 JBA headers from a guy that lives near me, and for the price I couldn't pass them up. I own a 93 Z28, and was told that I could fit 94 headers in it with almost no problems. Another guy told me that it wouldn't be easy. I know that the AIR and EGR are different. Could I block both of them off, or is it easy to make them fit? Which is easier, and which is cheaper? I don't need to worry about emissions where I live. Has anyone done this? I would greatly appreciate your help.

I would say first that the JBA's kinda suck compared to the others, but if its really really cheap (i.e. under $150) go for it... if it's like $200+, then look around for another deal. You can get MAC's for a reasonable cost and they flow much better.

I had that happen. I bought a set of "93" AZ headers off of Ebay. Nope, 94-95 they were. The AIR on the passenger side of the 93 is over the #2 primary, whilst over the #8 on the 94-95. The 94-95 have an EGR riser valve coming off the #8 also, and that one looked impossible to get blocked off unless welded. At least it did to me. Besides that, you'd have to fabricate something to connect the AIR pipes together, which is more trouble than it's worth. Hold off for a better deal.
