'94's came with an LT1. Did you swap yours out for an LS1?

Hahahaha dude from 93-97 they had LT1s. You have a 94 so its a LT1 Engine. Whats it doing in the LS1 section?

Either way I wasn't aware that either the LT1 or LS1 had a "limp mode" I thought all that happens is that timing is pulled. Can you describe the symptoms? Have you done a tune up recently? Have any mods? You can clear your PCM by removing the battery cable and re-installing it. I would try that first.

Judging that was his or hers first post, I don't think they will come back and reply.

going by what the owner told me hadnt look into much when i posted asked him again he is sure that when they pluged it it at smog place thats what it came up as. when i got the car the computer was loose with 2 wires cut and spliced but one splice had came apart it doesnt start all the time dies at random times it runs poor at low end but on fwy it goes well read the post above about no limp mode timming being pulled because it runs like timming is a little retarded as for ls1 lt1 what can i look for on the engine itself to tell the difference

Thanks
