1993 z28 questions

Ive been lookin at my uncles 98 z28 (ls1) camaro and im gonna buy it in about a year or so , do you guys this its a good idea to get my g/f a 93 z28 . is the lt1 a good enigine? a buddy of mine said lt1's arent so great? , Im just trying to learn as much as i can about this car. i mean i want her to have a camaro , she loves em like i do what would be a good choice?

93s are a special year because they had some differences to the 94-97s go to speeddensity.org to check out all about 93s

id say the downfall of the LT1 is the Opti spark...
Ive yet to have to replace mine but i have a miss that i think narrowed down to either a plug wire or the opti.
good power can be made through LT1s but of course much more can be made easier through an LS1..

currently i have 141k miles on mine and shes still kicking and running strong so they arent all that bad
