1993 Trans Am

What kind of times would the Auto 93 Trans Am Run in the 1/4? I remember hearing that they were slower then the later LT1 years, like 94-97. Is this true?

What is the cheapest, easiest, and most reliable way to break into the 13.XX's with an Auto 93?

Thanks.

I have a 1993 Camaro Z28.
All stock it ran 13.98..
So if your a good driver you can run low 14's or very high 13's.
I suggest a Cold Air Intake for your next upgrade.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Low 14s or high 13s, with an AUTOMATIC tranny!?! Damn!

Do you really feel a difference with the Cold Air Intake? How difficult is it to install, what tools would I need?

Thanks again

You probably won't feel much of a difference with just a CAI....get another $50 and go with a cutout and then you'll feel (and hear) a huge difference.......

Do a search, it'll be your best friend soon.

And don't bump up like that. It's considered disrespectful for doing it before 24 hours has elapsed, or unless it's an extremely important question (car is apart and you need help....) the effects of a CAI isn't that huge of a deal.

Welcome to the board!

When I got my CAI I could notice quite a difference in low RPM throttle and really high RPM.
It gets the job done quicker of getting to speed.
Also sounds a bit different on high RPM.
