I want to do a cc305 cam swap on my 93 Camaro z28. What would need to be done before I swap?

 

May I suggest adding a signature so we know more about your car? Is it bone stock or does it have mods? What's your long term goal for the car? (cam & done? or cam just the start?)
the short answer to what needs to be done is....

build up a nice pot-o-gold for mods!

I'm sorry, I'm new to this site. I don't know how to do that. But it's basically stock except I have installed a cold air intake and custom headers

If you are posting from a phone, the "Signature" may not automatically append to the post. If you have that problem, it would be a good idea to start off each new topic with basic into about your car.

 

I hope you meant to say the cc503, the 305 is more of a blower grind. You'll also need rockers, springs, gaskets, 160 stat and probably an oil pump drive gear minimum. Along with a new timing set and a tune.
