Question 160 Thermostat needed with Jet Fan Module??

I'm about to install a Jet fan module in my T/A this weekend, and I need to know if I should install a 160 degree thermostat with it? Some have said it is necessary, I just dont know what to think. Thanks.

Nope, you don't need to install one.

It's not necessary. It will make your fans run almost all of the time when the car is warm, except in really cold weather since the Jet switch turns the fans on at 180 and the stock thermostat is 185.

When I purchased the fan switch I read that it turns on the fans at 195 or 200 (depending on where you read it from) instead of the stock 225. The fans then stay on until 185 or 180. So with this is mind, and the fact that my car usually stays around 185 now, should I get the thermostat??
