15 lbs of boost @ 10.1:1 CR!
That setup sounds like a grenade with the pin pulled!
But sure enough, while I was at Milan Dragway there were TWO Mercury Marauders there with that setup.
They come with the Mach1 Motor (300hp w/ 10.1:1cr) and on top of that the guy slapped a 6,000.00 supercharger on it!
I was talking to him about the setup and he told me he's running stock Motor with 15lbs. of BOOST!
He insists, it's all in the tune and that he has to run race fuel

Im no expert but running race fuel allows for higher boost levels or nitrous shots. I know some import guys who can run 17lbs regular and 25lbs on race gas.
Plus the guy could put it on the dyno and watch for detonation while he slowly raises boost levels.. ie tune.
The engine may be past its safe HP levels but he can avoid detonation by using race gas.
