Wink $800 to spend

Got the good ol' tax return back and got a good $800 to spend. What should I do with it? I really want a stall converter but my gas milage is already at 14mpg city and i REALLY REALLY dont want it to drop any less. Does 14mpg sound right for me with 3.73s? Its pretty crappy...

But Im not sure what other options I have to make the car fast... Im not really sure how much nitrous would be after everything including all the safty stuff. Plus my dad would kill me lol

This is my ONLY car and my ONLY mode of transportation, everything that I do with it has to be done in the matter of a full day or a day and a half. I work full time and go to school.

Whatcha guys think?

As for nitrous, you'd need the kit, FPSS, bottle warmer, purge, gauge. Depending if you got stuff used, you might be able to pull it off for $800, but it'd probably be more.

I'd go for suspension. STB, PHR, LCAs, SFC's.

I'd get the FPSS and a window switch at a minimum. Unless you are doing used parts (which I won't do with a nitrous system) then I doubt you'll do a really safe kit for 800. I say go with SFC's and a STB and then just save the rest for when you have some more money.

I really dont want suspension, cause i hook damn well as it is. I can stall it up to 1500 (just before the tires break lose) and when the 3rd yellow lights i mash the gas all the way to the floor and the car dead hooks...

Need power!

I really dont want to do nitrous, just because my dad would kick my butt lol ... He thinks im trying to turn my daily driver into a race car

You could do a great Cam for that money. If you are looking daily driver, do a XE 224/230, HOTCAM, or CC 305. Then get 1.6 rockers and all the associated valvetrain stuff, and you are sittin pretty.
