I was reading the new GMHTP with the old 96 SS vs 96 cobra test.. Evan Smith (who better?) got a bone stock 96 ss to run a 13.3... so anything is possible no?

Times in sig. Race weight that night was 3520 lbs.

thats extremely fast for a stock LT1...but since weve seen LT1's go as fas as 13.6-7's stock I guess its possible...GMHTP did pilot there firechicken (LT1 bird) to a supposed 13.5 stock
