I went to the track 3 weeks ago and ran consistent 13.40's @103 on street tires. Two weeks ago I replaced the cat w/ a cutout and I just got my Nitto drags in yesterday. I'm gonna run again next week before the season ends. Do you guys think it's possible to break into the 12's w/ the cutout and Nittos? Let me know what you think is possible and/or realistic.

 

It's very possible but if you had some more convertor like a 2800-3000 vigilante it would be definate provided your car hooks up.I am pretty sure if the weather is real good it could happen. Later

 

Thanks for the input T/A lt1. I agree about the converter size but believe it or not that 2400 knocked off .4 exactly. I went from a 13.86 to a 13.46. I never expected that from such a mild tc, maybe .2 tops.

 

i went 12.9 at 109 with a mild cam and a gear, with ET streets and a 2400 stall, so it is possible

 

Going on a cooooold night always helps also
