Last year i ran consitent 13.6-13.7's at 101-103 with pacesetter shorty headers and y pipe, magnaflow catback, K&N intake, 1LE elbow, Edelbrock 52mm TB, 160* stat, and TB bypass. I've just purchased a TCI streetfighter converter with 3000 stall, Transgo shift kit, B&M super cooler, BMR LCA and relo brackets, BMR sfc, and 17" SS wheels with nitto DR's. Anyone with a similair setup and if so what are you running. Also will 12's be possible?

 

it might be ... low 13's and high 12's ... what gears you got?

Get a pcm tune from madz28.com, that should help you get closer to your goal.

My opinion is you don't even need that converter yet. If I were you I would get a set of 3:73's and a good tune. With DR's that will put you close to 12's.

 

A converter is an awesome mod for any LT1 car, even a stock one.

 

this is what i was told also and it should make a much larger diffrence then the 3.73's would have.

I agree with you 100%. I just got my converter restall from 2800 to 3200. I cant wait to get it put back in.
