Ok I read up on some of the threads on converting an LT1 to carb but I was planning on running forced induction so I wanted to run a single plane manifold so what would be a godo one to use?

 

blow threw carb?

Or

Single plane intake as a starting point for a EFI intake?

 

For a blowthrough carb probably a holley 850 dp with twin pt76s and its being built for road racing.

 

Just take whatever LT1 style heads you are going to use and get a Edelbrock Super Victor single plane and have your machince shop drill & tap your heads for the old style intake bolt pattern and away you go. As for the carb check out the Carb Shop they have carbs specifically modified for blow thru applications.
