12 bolt owners

i've got a 97 m6 do i need to shorten my drive line for a 12 bolt?

I have a 97 m6 with a Strange 12 Bolt. It pushed my driveshaft about 1/4" further into the tranny, which is no problem, there's still plenty of free slide in it.

Moser = yes
Strange = no
KTRE or whatever it is = ????

I got the strange unit. IMO its a bit better thought out in some aspects than the moser.
