12-13mpg on a bolt on car wtf. Fuel effciency question within?
THAT'T why my milage went down the ****hole!!!!! I had no idea low pressure effects milage. I had mine at 35 and lowered it to about 25. Traction is way better though. I also have a strange idle. I calculate no more than 15 mpg. I get like 80 from past full to the 3/4ths mark, then it gets worse and worse.

I can't say i fully buy that story. It may have some merit and some truth, but i went from 245/45-16 street tires running good pressure to drag radials running a MAX of 25 psi every day, and i didn't have any difference in mpg.
To clean fuel injectors, you can either buy the injector cleaner stuff from any auto parts store or even wal-mart for a quick job, or you can have them serviced and cleaned by hand for more money. I personally just use the injector cleaner from the stores. Seems to work well.

About every six months sounds right depending on how much you drive it. there's really not a specified time table. Basically, whenever you feel like your car needs it. For five or 6 bucks though, it's worth a try.

i would personally stay away from that injector cleaner. i would put some in every once in a while and i ended ruining an injector. my dad ruined an o2 sensor with a different brand injector cleaner. i talked to a few shops because did not know why i was going through injector and my dad was going through o2 sensors. turns out the injector cleaner was causing the problem. the shops said if we use anything, make sure it is seafoam. they actually just recommended running a tank of amoco or mobil gas through the vehicles every month or so. as for a bad idle, you could clean your throttle body out and your iac. this really helped my car out in throttle response. also, i changed the fuel filter and that help for mpg too.
