114 traps with stock heads tonight

Went to Muncie Indiana tonight to watch their "hot friday night drags" About a 2 hour drive for me, but very BIG night at the strip with tons of cars. I really went to see my buddies TT 02 ws6 run because i hadnt seen it in awhile. Turned out to be the fastest car there (10.30s at 133)

Anyways, i had no intention of running my car, just watching, but we ended up meeting the tower girl (who was really hot, until i found out her age...eek), and sweet talked her into giving me a number on the car to run once.

So I lined up just as i drove the car there, full pressure in rear tires etc. Wasnt expecting much, but whoa.....

60' = 1.95
1/4 = 12.86
mph = 113.86

I took off pretty easy, and spun a little but nothing major. But i ran a 114 trap!!!! im sooooooooooo stoked It was kinda humid, and ~70-75ish degrees (im guessing) Now to work on that pathetic ET.

Last time at the track i made this thread if anyone remembers/cares to look:

Thanks DJ! It does seem like we are always runniing within .1-.2 tenths of each other. Been like that for the last 2 or 3 years now, lol.

Only thing i did to the car since last week at the track (110 trap) is flash the computer a few times trying to get the 02s in line. Didnt even have the laptop with me tonight to log the run

Ya everything that could go wrong did there for awhile. I still have about 10 things to fix or repair before the car is 100% again.

I believe he's running the GM 847 cam. 234/242 and I forget the lift numbers, but a really nice cam.

atljar, if you're reading this, I'd like to see a dyno graph of that cam if you have one. I'm wondering how peaky the hp curve is and how good the torque curve is??

Gm 847 cam = 234/242 575/595 112

Drag strip was muncie dragway, its an ihra track

I dont have any dyno graphs or numbers yet, im hoping to dyno a the bowling green f body gathering in september.

however, i know ellis has a graph of when his was stock heads and that cam. He did 346rwhp or something like that. Let me see if i can find his dyno and ill post it.
