Is 108.5mph in the 1/4 respectable for my car?

What do you guys think with the mods in my sig? This last Sat. I made a couple runs at 108 with the fastest being 108.54. The ET was a 13.04 with a 2.0 60ft. I know with the mph theres much more left in that ET. But anyhow, with stock TB, intake, heads, do you guys think thats about right for mph? Thanks

Yea 10 grenading is right! The highest I've tried launching from was 4500rpms and the car still just bogged down. Im scared to try launching from much higher so for now Im just feathing the clutch out of the hole for 2.00 60fts. Those ET streets are insane how sticky they are compared to the Nitto DRs.

This hasn't felt like the best weather for drag racing around here. Do you know what the atmospheric conditions were?

Last year we were racing with a density altitude of 3000 feet above sea level (or so I was told by someone there with a weather station). I was trapping 113 mph, a cam'd C5 was right with me, and a cam'd LS1 TA was trapping 109 mph.

Correcting those to sea level really makes me wonder

Thumbs up Re: Is 108.5mph in the 1/4 respectable for my car?

Those times are right on for stockheaded, Hot Cammed power LT1. On a stock A4 trans I ran 12.9's all day at 107ish... Then the High stall put me in at 12.30's @ 110+... Launch that car and hope it don't break. Cause they do. I know...

Nice Times

Yes I was and I hated it! The clearance was OK, but still wasn't great... I had to worry about steep driveways. Daily driving I had to slow down all the time because any significant bump or dip in the road would cause it to bottom out. Also..the car was insanely loud inside and outside the car. The exhaust alone cause rattles in the car I never new existed. Radio? HA that was out of the question along with conversations with other people. Soo.. a few weeks later and a $156 ticket for "faulty muffler" I decided to pull it all off. I bought the 3in. off road Pacesetter Y pipe and then hooked it up to a Hooker catback system. I love it now...same clearance of stock exhaust...and sounds mean! Not to loud at idle or low rpms but plenty loud when I get on it.

Sorry to hear it. I guess it's a good time to gloat about mine then I've gotta get some pictures of this on the car. I'm fairly pleased with my first ever homemade exhaust.
