anybody know what casting number this Lt1 is? it looks like the casting number on ends with "10273" and it looks like it says 5.7, but also 637 anybody know what it is?

right by the oil filter on the block, i cant make out the rest of the numbers, the ps pump has a connector in the back so i think it may be an impala ss or 9c1 motor, just want to make sure its not a 4.3, anybody know where it says 4.3 stamped on the motor?

 

it says vo122ysx on the pad in front of the cyl head too

 

That is not a casting number. It is a VIN derivative stamped on the block.

All LT1s have 327 cast into all sides of the block. L99s have 4.3 cast in the same areas.

 

hey guys, im just wondering if the impala and fbody brackets are the same, for some reason my 96 ws6 has an impala ss ps pump in it, and the factory one doesnt look like it bolts to the bracket, but on that same bracket the "cover" piece unbolts, i was wondering if this is the only diffrence, or if the bracket itself is diffrent
