100% needle bearing roller rockers -- including tip
100% needle bearing roller rockers -- including tip
Crower advertises that any of their roller rocker arms (shaft or stud mounted) can have, as an option, fully needle bearing roller tips -- a $199 option.
I'm wondering if they really are an advantage.
It seems to me that either the pin that the roller rides on, or the roller itself, will have to be smaller in order to have room for the needle bearings -- I don't see where the outside diameter of the roller tip can be larger and still be self-aligning.
Does anyone have any experience with needle bearing roller tips?
What opinions do we have on this?
