whats up with the scorpions 1.7rrs. how much are they and where do you buy them from? anyone had luck with them. on the Lt1s? are they better than 1.6rrs. more hp? someone let me know something, is it worth going form 1.6s to 1.7s. myfriend also wants to know, he has stock 1.5s thanks guys

From what I have read the people that are running them are happy with them, they will make more power than a 1.6 because they will give you more lift.

If you mean changing from the 1.6's I think it would be worth it. There was a guy over on the kyfbodies.org page that gained like 14 or 15 rwhp by changing from 1.6's to 1.7's, but that was with a HOT CAM. If you want to check out the dyno and read about it go over and search the LT1 Tech for scorpion and you should find it.

I think you don't have to modify the valve covers to get them to work. The install would be the same as the 1.6's.
