1.7:1 scorpions with stock lifters

I have 80k miles on my car and was thinking about 1.7's and springs, I was just curious if Im using the stock cam still how much stress that would cause the lifters and if I would need to tear **** apart and replace the lifters with better ones or if they would work fine for a while. I am willing to bet my motor is in better shape than most and it rarely sees past 4k rpm if that has any great effect on thier longevity with those rockers... what do you guys think?

Your lifters will be fine. You should definately get better valve springs though.

You would only swap out the lifters if you were doing a cam swap.
