Getting an LT4 knock module could be a cheaper solution. The sensor would still pickup noise, but the module isn't as sensitive. Having both would be great.
I'm thinking about getting some LT4 valve covers. They look really nice and I wouldn't have to modify my stock valve covers. But I don't think that's worth $150...

Do you have self aligning rrs? becasue if you do they are louder than if you go with non selfaligning with hardened pushrods and guideplates. I would go with the knock module for starters because it does make knock with rrs. You prolly still will have a small amount of it even with the module so the best bet is to get both. Plus the new valve covers will look good. you could get different valve covers not just lt4 but you dont need them
