1.6 RR's

Where do higher ratio rockers add power. Top end or low end? Also, I guessing a 15 HP increase with a full bolt on car. And what springs, hot cam springs ok?

rockers

They will increase power everywhere in the RPM range.Maybe a tad more in mid to upper RPM's.
Any quality aftermarket spring that will put 125+ on the seat and 350 or so on the nose. You didn't say what cam you have so it is hard to say.

springs

Hot cam springs will work. You don't have to change springs just to run RR.

Hotcam springs with 1.6rr are barely adeqate for the Hotcam. I would recommend getting a set of springs that are good to .600, then you don't have to replace them later if you decide to install a cam.

if you're going to stay with the stock cam for a long while you might consider something better than the lt4 springs. maybe step up to the stronger beehive springs offered from comp. that'll lighten up your valve train and help valve control. they probably wont hold a very big aftermarket cam though. i dont know what you have planned but if you plan on staying stock cam it might be a way to go, but of course it costs more than the lt4 springs do by far.
