1.6 Roller Rockers ... notchy

I'm in the process of a head & cam swap. While pulling off my 1.6 RRs Pro Comps, the roller on the tip seems a bit notchy. They don't roll smooth like the trunion but feel like they have a slight "burr" or something that is in the rolling mechanism.

Is this normal after 10K of use? Normal street driving, no dragstrip action.

This was with a stock engine, cam, and heads.

If there is a burr then take a fine gret sand paper and give it a little touch up. If the problem happens agian then you might wont to replace them. To much sanding will make them too small. If you start hearing a shattering sound make sure not to run anymore untill problem is solved. Anymore questions just ask. I have had this problem before, and it takes a little work to fix.

I would send the rockers back to Comp for inspection/repair.

Yes, on the roller tip. No flat spots yet. The spinning action feels like there a bearing is hanging up... when I spin them, there is a "notch" at every revolution in the same spot.
