Unhappy 1.6 Rockers Non-self aligning ?

Hello,

I just got some 1.6 gold racing series roller rockers on ebay and it was my first time getting something from their and I didn't know we could ask the seller questions. Well, I won the rockers and come to find out their non-self aligning. My question is are those hard to set-up. I have a stock cam and valve springs which I'm going to change later on. Can I just bolt the rockers on or is their some type of adjusting that I need to do? Please help somebody.

Thanks,
Mag

I would not use 1.6 rockers on stock valve springs either. With a stock cam, I'd use LT4 springs.

I was told there was not much noise difference in the Comp Pro Magnums SA or NSA. I can tell you that the NSA ones are not what I would call quiet.

you'll have to remove the studs to install the guide plates, i'd just go back with some nicer ones while i was at it wont gost much 35-40 bucks. i'd do new springs too and depending on the year you'll need hardened push rods. rob (shoebox) can tell you if your year is the one that needs it i'm pretty sure
