I have heard that the Comp.1.6 pro mag sa rocker will not work with Comp. beehives and their locks and retainer. Any of you guys actually had a problem with this set-up, if so what to do to correct prob., if there is one. I feel that as many engs as you guys build someone will know. Thanks Danny Mc

 

The bee hives will work with Self Aligning or NON Self Aligning rockers.

 

Not with stock length lt1 valves they wont, unless you plan on keeping the lift down. The issue is the installed height, they come in short and require +0.050" locks to get a good installed height. This moves the retainer up the stem and the self aligning rockers sa tabs will then be resting on the retainer or lock. If you dont use the taller locks, well you will be closer to coil bind wether or not that is acceptable is up to you and exactly what combination of parts you're using.
