1.5 to 1.6 rockers worth doing on 93z?
I have 93 and I was thinking of getting 1.6 rocker since I have 1.5. Just wandering is it worth doing. How muck how much do they cost, I don't know if is it worth gettting RR or just solid. How much HP can I expect from it and where can I get them. Sorry guys for so many questions?
Yes its worth doing, most range from $150 to $300 from jegs and summit racing, I've read that the solids are actually more durable in the long run but I got RR's, anywhere from 10-20hp at the tires is common, it made a noticeable difference in mine.
Alex,

I went with 1.6's and most of my gains were up top, but overall it was worth it. I myself did not go with RR because I didn't want to screw with the covers not working and having to mess with them. To each their own.

yeah, more lift is always good. might as well swap springs too. that way if u decide to do a cam down the line, the valvetrain is already done. odds are, if u have more than 50,000 miles and have driven hard, your springs are in need of change anyway. LT4 1.6's are good and Crane Gold Race 1.6 (self aligning) are good but pricey. just make sure u get a full roller.
