1/4 mile times need help

what 1/4 mile time should i expect with 3.73's and a transgo shift kit on an LT1 with K&n fipk, cut out, 3" flowmaster exhuast and most free mods. have been to track only once back when completely stock it ran a 14.3.

I'd think you'll see 13s for sure, I'd be suprised if you gained more than .5 from stock times though. With the 3.73s you might have a hell of a time hooking up with street tires. I have the same, and have to go half throttle until second gear to TRY to control wheel spin, but, I do have 18s on the back so that's no help.

you'll probably be high 13's with those mods. i'm guessing you have an auto since you got 3.73's, so you shouldn't have too difficult a time launching consistently if that's the case. what was the ratio before the gear change? I'm going 2.73>3.73 with a cutout done around the same time.

also, redbird...if you have 18's isn't that gonna make your rearend ratio higher, therefore making the wheelspinning less nasty?

with my mods i ran 13.8 @ 102 with a poor 2.3 60' time
i think i can get a 13.4 or BETTER the way it sits....

so im thinking you should be able to get a 13.8 with good traction

your time will depend allot on your location. In texas on a good cool night and i also am asuming that you drive an automatic.. You should expect 13.70s to 13.50 on street tires and 13.30s to 13.teens on ETs or drag radials. as long as you can get your 60' in the 1.80-2.10 range.

Your about right. These guys are one drugs if they think he'll get a second outta that. I'd say about 13.8 with hook up.

Haven't been to the track in about 5 years.....but I'm putting in my 383 this weekend (hopefully) so you can bet I'll be there in about 2 months when she breaks in.

Maybe I'll see ya there. I saw your name and figured you were from here.
