hey hey where in the bronx are you? what color is your car? I have a mystic teal Z that i usually run up and down E. Tremont when i have nothing better to do. maybe I've seen your car around. slp shorties are one of the best flowing shorty type headers from what who had them have said.

SLP shorties are nice, but do NOT buy the version they make for the 96-97 dual cat cars. They are somewhat of a poorer design than the 94-95 single cat versions. Good luck.

Are you running that cam with stock manifolds now? If so you should see a huge difference going with SLP's. I would highly recommend going with the 94/95 style shorties if you can. That's what I'm using, they are a much better flowing design than the ones for 96-97.

BTW, I thought I didnt drive mine that much but 8800 miles, wow!

30015 uncoated
30015-C coated

You can usually find a pair in the for sale section for around 1/2 the price of them new.

By using the y pipe with 94-95 kit does that bypass the cats or is there fitment issues to take care of

What's up guys i'm in Queens... Just got a nice 96 Z28. I'm curious about the header installation too. I'm wondering what needs to be done with the duel cats in my 96. Do i just have a shop fabricate the pipe or do i get a stock pipe from a 94-95?
