.045 spark plugs
.045 spark plugs
Well, after going through everything with this darn car...I finally got it to run right!!! I was using ngk tr55s...ran like poop. Went hotter, went cooler....nothing seemed to work. Then I finally took some advice from a friend (68 year old man whos raced his whole life, and sons, and sons son...etc...). The plugs I'm running now are ACDelco MR43LTS. Yes thats right...Marine plugs. Before I use to have to trun the key...practically flood the motor every single time!
I threw these in because I did infact flood the motor out AGAIN...damn thing started right up. Idled perfect and I drove it too. GREAT! I'm seriously impressed. The plug is gaped at .045 .

Well...I got bored so I threw in a set of heads I had laying around and the cc306 that I bought I don't know how many years ago (I think 2). So she's been a real b!tch to me for a few days. I've got brand new o2s but I dont have a mas air flow sensor so I think thats why its idling like **** right now. It's really heard to keep it steady after you get on it a few times. I also dont have an exhaust for it.
I'm actually thinking about selling the motor though. I really dont need it and it was in the car still so I thought I would amuse myself with this while I'm building a carbed motor for it (hence the...sounds like a winstone cup car).
