First time at the track with the cc306..........look!!!!!!!

Went to the track tonight and made my first pass with the cc306 and edge converter and went 12.3 @110. sixty foot was 1.68. This is with a mail order tune and bfg drag radials. This week i'm going to get a k-member, drag springs and remove the ac. I think after those three things and next week i'll also be on fat and skinnys with et streets i think i may get into high 11's. What do ya'll think? Also my converter locked up at 80mph could i get another mph if i were to have it lock up at little sooner in third? Also does anyone have a part # for the ac delete kit?

Good times man. But your planned mods aren't going to get you 3/10s. You might get a 1/10 or so.

I think with the new stuff you may have a shot at it. Your going to be losing about 100-120 lbs with what your doing..the biggest gain will come in the fat/skinnies. My wifes 99 WS6 picked up .18 and 1.5 mph from going from 17" fikses on front to skinnies. Same night..we made 3 runs with the 17s...changed the rims in the pits..made 3 runs on the skinnies. It was very consistant in what it picked up. If you lock up the converter too soon it will actually hurt you by boggin you down and taking you our of your power range. Its something you will have to play with by locking it at different rpms/mph. Congrats on the new times

Yes those are stock heads. I have never had the heads off the car with 100,000 miles. Those #'s were my first and only pass. I would just love to be a 11sec car with stock heads.

Good times.
My little brother's car (1995 Formula with 4.10s ,6 speed, CC306 and Longtubes) just did 12.6 @ 113mph on a 2.0 60'. And his heads are also BONE STOCK, completely untouched.

Is it just the mods in your sig?
What did you run before the 306?
Are you still nunning the LT4 springs?

Oh yeah,
Great times!
