02 sensor fittings welded in?

Was looking at hooker supercomp lt's at thunder racing and it says they charge $65 to weld the o2's sensor fittings into place? Is this worth it? Or will them not welded in be a problem during the instal?

o2 bungs

What are you doing for a y pipe? I would have them welded there. I used a muflex y pipe cost me $25.00 to have them weld in the o2 bungs

What year is your ride?

If you have heated O2 sensors you can put them anywhere in the y pipe you would like but close to the collector would be the best.

If there not heated then your going to want them as far upstream as possible so the exhaust can heat them up.

$65 seems a bit high IMO. But, if you'd rather not mess with it and take them somewhere locally when you get them (probably about $20) then $65 is cheap

The bungs themselves can be bought for $2.50 each. At least that's what I paid for them a couple years ago.
