~ Engine Mounts ~

Planning on changing the mounts and not sure on which to get, what does everyone recommend? I hear the poly mounts increase noise and vibrations alot. Do they make rubber/poly mounts like on suspension parts? Thanks.

The mounts are a clamshell design. Its either stock, poly, solid, or motorplate .

Polys will increase vibes, but they won't make as big of difference as a poly tranny mount will. I have tried all of the above combos. The only thing I recommend staying away from on a street car is a solid tranny mount - its rough...I tried it for a while .

Its not really a question of how much they'll hold as how much vibration you can take. I would put polys in a stock motor car. You probably will barely notice a difference - I didn't. After a while the car felt stock again.

You won't kill your 2nd date chances because of poly mounts .
