It sounds really good, tamer than one would think.

What springs are you using?

I was thinking about getting the XE 224/230 or 224/236 on a 114 lsa for my motor, a blown 355. I'm pulling out the hotcam anyway due to a conversion to the vented opti.

I am pretty sure the springs I bought with my GP were EX Components 612 Single Coil Extreme Performance Valve Spring Kit. Have to see if I still have my components list at home.

I've heard a bunch more 224/230's sound clips..and mine does seem a little bit tamer. But its probably because I have mid length headers..and the stock cat. I think with duals or no cat..it would be alot lopier and cleaner.

But as it is, its fine for me now...its definatly loud at idle..and very loud when you hit it. I am happy with the performance and the sound of the cam.
