*Plugs/Wires Install Tips/Pics*

I own a 1994 z28 and I bought some NGK (G-Power) platinum plugs and 7mm plugs wires and have a few questions for some of you that have dealt with this before. First off I haven't done a tune-up on my lt1 before, but I have pulled the driver side out before. I also understand that this job is quite an undertaking in my case, so does anyone have any PICS of their jobs? The biggest thing is getting the passenger side plugs and running all the plug wires (I mean I could take pics of the layout now, but I'm limited to floor jacks). So if anyone has ANY pics of their jobs OR just any helpful tips it would be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS

Clear your entire day.

Loosen up the PS pump. This will allow for more clearance behind the hard line for routing in the stock location.

Go for the #2 plug from up top (all others from bottom). Some people remove the alternator to allow for more maneuverability

I got to the first 4 from the top and the back 4 from the bottom pretty okay. Still took awhile and patience will be a key factor in how long it will take you.

Do your left side underneath your car. It's a lot easier. For the right side take your Alt. off and unbolt your power stearing pump. Let it hang. You'll need to alternate from underneath your car, plugging in the wires to the opti to pulling them up and placing the wires threw the guide bracket and around the accessory bracket. This is where it's a pain. You dont have much space to work with. I didn't mess around trying to take off the old wires neatly. I took my side cutters and cut the wires in half. Trying to pull boot threw tight places was too much of a pain. It was just easier to cut the old ones out.

Are you on www.mngmp.com yet?
