I drove for 20-25 minutes in AZ heat, got home with the temps just fine. Leave my house after about 10 min and as I pulling out of my complex the temp just gradually goes up until I shut her off. It had done this before, but after maybe 30-45 secs of continuous climbing it would go back to a reasonable temp. It seems like to me that after running the pump for a little while the next time I get in it doesn't start up.

At this time I am unaware of what brand it is, although I do know it has only been on the car for approx 1yr. Which I was under the assumption it would last at least 2.

Do this sound like a slowing failing pump? How can I test this? Any wiring write-ups to setup an idiot light?
