So I replaced my battery yesterday went to fire my 93 Z28 up and got nothing... No security light, no crank, no windows etc.. The only thing that comes on are my headlights BUT my dash lights dont come on...

I took the battery out to see if i snaged a wire, tightened the positive connector post thing, cleaned the battry cables, checked fuses etc..

Im stumped...

 

Are your taillights working? Well I don't know if this is related at all. But I noticed my dash lights went out once, and later I found out that my taillights were not working as well. Turns out some wires from my radio was causing my taillight fuse to blow. Fixed the wire, replaced the fuse, and dash lights worked again.

 

Did you also check all of the ground connections on the other post?

 

i pulled the Positive cable off clean all the post and connections and tightened up the ground and its running like a champ now...
