$8.62 Performance Chip from ebay?

Hey guy's I was just searching ebay today for some parts for my 94 Z and came upon a performanc chip for $8.62 + 6.95 shipping. It offers 60 hp, 60 torq, 20+ mpg, better shifts, and more top end power for LT1's. I was wondering if any one has heard of Cyclone Engneering. Because thats the maker of the chip. Thanks to everyone that reviews!!

Read the seller's feedback. All the negatives say it's just a resistor, and does not help at all. If it looks like a scam, it probably is. And this one obviously is.

don't waste your time or money with that! it's like the coolant by-pass kit for 10.00 that costs 1.00 to make!

What a joke..... I really like benefit #33 "extends the life of your oil and extends the life of your oil between oil changes". I think it might even cure hemorhoids.

The 8.62 cost and Ebay should have been a dead giveaway.

If I was sixteen, I would be all over that. And with 60 new horses under the hood, you guys wouldn't want none.

I know its the great American entrepreneurial dream / capitalism / buyer beware.... but this one really pushes the limit.

-10,000 SQFT manufacturing facility
-special arrangements with the post office for 6 pickups a day
-over one million sold
-tested in 500 different vehicles, all of which showed improvements
-bought all the available "chips" on the market and tested them with 300 dyno pulls......
-our performance chip will allow your vehicle to run at stoichiometric (A/F) ratios at all times.
-you will not need to use premium fuel

-60+ Horsepower (doesn't seem to matter whether you put it on a 100HP Cobalt or a 400HP Corvette.... it still adds 60+ HP)
-20+ MPG better fuel efficiency GUARANTEED!
-Smoother shifting (Automatic and manual transmissions)
-75% quicker throttle response time
-Cleaner and faster revs
-Lengthens the life of your engine belts by reducing RPM

What a load....... $15.64 with shipping, for a 10-cent resistor and a 41-cent stamp. Unbelievable.

10,000 square feet, for what, to mail out resistors in envelopes?

there that is also another give away. there is not a chip in the world which will make YOU better at shifting a Manual transmission. Generally just use some common sense, if they could have gotten another 60hp+ out of the engine from the factory and still get the mileage and all that other stuff they would have done it.

The vehicle manufacturers try to produce as much power as possible without sacrificing engine reliability, better gas mileage and the mileage between tune-ups. Our job was to figure out how to produce more power and give better gas mileage at the same time. When your vehicle is running rich you are wasting gas. For example: If you have ever seen a person accelerating quickly you may have seen black smoke coming from the back of the car, this is NORMAL.

And... I have not seen one factory tuned Fuel injected car that has black smoke coming from the rear ever.

Another thing you notice is they contridict themselves right there.

From a fellow Kentuckian, your money would be better spent on some locally grown produce.

It's funny that it extends the life of your oil, and the life of your oil between changes. So, it's improving the life of oil that may not even be in your car? That's most impressive.

Think I could put one of them on my moped and get 60 hp?
