$250 tune-up, spark plugs only...srsly?
yeah changing the plugs on an lt1 is a time consuming job. the drivers side is alright but the passenger side is a pain. i did it on my firebird and it took me a little while, because most of the work has to be done from underneath the car. when i got my firebird it had two different sets of spark plugs in it, ac delco on one side and champion on the other. what i get from that is that the person before me did the drivers side and then went on to the passenger side, and found out how much of a pain it was and just said screw it.
mine had the same plugs, but 8mm wires on the driver's, and 7mm on the pass. They're all new plugs and 8mm wires now.
oh and time wise, took me and my dad bout 6 hours for plugs and wires on both sides, still have an msd coil to put on.

be carefull also lots of shops are crooks and will charge you like 250 to change them and leave plug #2 cause its such a pita and still charge you for it.
when I had stock manifolds it took 90 min to change 7 of the plugs and about 3 hours to get #2 done
now it takes 20 min todo all 8 with the race motor :P
