Zero compression on #1 Cyl - 99 Z-28 - With lifter tapping

Hi, I have a solid misfire on #1. Did all of the usual code checking etc.. No love with any of the usual suspects. Turns out after I did a compression test number one showed up at Zero.

Engine was running fine, I shut it off at a store came back out started it up and got a somewhat loud multiple tapping that sounded like lifters and and then everything quieted except a single constant tap and a dead miss. Like I said after testing I got zero compression at #1.

It seems like I should have some compression, but zero all of a sudden?

Anyone have an opinion?

I am about to dump a quart of Marvel Mystery oil in it in the hope that its a stuck lifter and that might free it. Has anyone put Marvel into their LS1? Any advise appreciated?

I don't have any kind of a budget that will let me rebuild and all that stuff, plus I use it for my normal transportation every day. Now I ride my bike (no Im not a kid) because I work from home, Im not driving it with the miss and tap.

Thanks

Pull the tappet cover and check the valve train. Might have a broken pushrod or rocker arm.
