Unhappy Yet another clutch ? please help

Car's in the sig

I think the clutch is going, it slips a little when I hit the 1-2 shift hard. I want to get a new clutch, but I have a lot of questions.

1.) Do I have to update my hydraulics? Its a 98 BTW or can I use what I have and just do the drill out mod?

2.) Is the Z06 clutch going to hold, considering I am hoping to end up w/ ~360 RWHP

3.) Is it worth it to upgrade to the Rev Lock, and forget the Zo6 clutch?

4.) How difficult is it to change the clutch myself? I have never done it before but I have pulled many A4s and a couple engines, and about how long would it take?

5.) Any estimates of the labor cost if I buy the materials and have a shop install it?

Thanks for all the help through the years guys

I'm getting a new clutch soon, so I hope this can help! You will need to upgrade the slave and master cylinders since your car is older than an 01. It will cost about $250 for a shop to install the clutch. BTW, there's a GP on McLeod clutches at ACA Performance with great prices!

i wouldn't trust any part that gm makes for the clutch and hydraulics. i talked to mccleod a while back and they said that they are coming out with a slave cylinder, they felt the updated gm slave better than the older one but not much. when i do my clutch i am replacing the master cylinder, slave cylinder, flywheel, presure plate and disc. gm cluthes on these cars are not designed for anything but easy driving, and its mainly in the hydraulics of the system, not releasing the pressure plate quick enough when the clutch is dropped which leads to short clutch life. same story with the POS 10 bolt. the drivetrain was definitly not designed for drag racing.
