It's not a concern. STOCK guides are hard as hell, they aren't going to wear. Now, if you go to an aftermarket head with bronze valve guides then you can start to see a problem (hence the recommendation to run HS rockers or equiv).

They said that the big problem is with heads that have bronze guides. But if you look at the computer illistrations of how the rocker comes up on it's tip after about .550 an presses the valve down with just the tip edge after that it might get you to thinking.
