Post WTF, Exhaust install?

I decide to put on my b&b triflo today. Get all the stock pipe off and attempt to install the new one... First problem, the clamp to secure it to the y pipe is too freakin big. It touches the damn drive shaft. Second problem, they made the over the axle pipe too long to alow it to be put in from behind the car so I have to put it in from the middle and the bracket is too damn big to slip in. I think the only option is to bend the damn thing in half and then attempt to straighten it afterward. Any ideas?

Haha! At the time I wrote that I was thinking that.... I ended up figuring it out. I had to remove the whole heat shield and then put it back in after I got the pipe over the axle. I had to use the stock clamp by the Y pipe for the first slip fit. I had to pry the thing off the old pipe (welded on) the put a dremel bit on a drill and flaten it out and cleaned it up with a 3m smoothing roll... I take the car for a ride and it's chirping 3rd pretty good now but it doesn't sound that much better... What a waste of money............ The price I pay to be different. Still have to start up the 97 to **** off the neighbors. Damn!
