Wow... Flowmaster Muffler installed - INCREDIBLE.

Just thought I'd share this with yas.

My best friend rear ended me, total of $1800 for the repairs. Bent up my exhaust (among other things), so I thought I'd take the opportunity to get it 'upgraded' - Had a Flowmaster muffler put on, they bent two 90 degree pipes, and some fairly large chrome tips on the end.

The thing sounds more muscle than I've ever heard before. No sputtering or anything when the RPMs are lowering between gears, nothing at all. Its loud, and amazing.

And mine =)

I so love my Camaro SS. I cant wait until the good weather comes and I can take the T-tops off, and cruise in the good weather - when its NOT SNOWING HERE IN SOUTHEASTERN VIRGINIA. (Its been snowing, and it sucks!)

On a scale of 1-10 - Flowmaster kicks ***!

Wow, U seem awfully happy for someone who just got rear ended. BTW, flowmaster sounds incredible but they arent very good for performance on F-bodies.

If the performance is at least as good as stock, I'm happy. This car kicks *** as is.

I'm so happy because his insurance paid for the accident, I didnt have to spend a dime, except the exhaust - and after eight days of being in a f'n escort, I get my 2002 SS =)

C'mon, just let him enjoy what he has(since he really likes it). And even though Flowmasters don't flow as good as others, they do ok on a stock or stockish car(with a good sound). Not exactly expensive either.

Desolate,

BTW, I felt exactly the same way when I had the GMMG installed on my bone stock(at the time) 2002 Z28 back in September. Makes the car a whole different animal to drive.

Damn, didn't you get your SS only last summer? I'd be so pi$$ed. Hope it's as good as new. It would be a long time before I got over that.

I'm also looking for a replacement for my stock muffler. I think I'm going with the Dynomax Ultra Flow. Hope it sounds as good as yours.

Flowmaster muffler with electric cutout -- perfect combo in my opinion.

You get the great Flowmaster sound, but when you get to the track, open the cutout for extra ponies.
