Would This Help

Yes lids add HP to our cars. It's usually the first mod people do along with a catback exhaust. Allows more air into the motor which creates more HP. The difference in the Z28 and SS is mostly cosmetic, SS got the hood and spoiler along with a better exhaust and springs, but as for performance they are the same. And yes, make use of the search feature on here, it will answer a lot of your questions. Nice looking car you got there.

Prove you are making 345 hp. I've seen bone stock LS1's make anywhere from high 280 whp to 318 whp. Which are you? Whats next? Saying you ran 12's stock because somone else did?

Chill out, folks. There's no need to take it to a hateful level. I don't want to start X-ing people.

Go ahead and look back. I raised the BS flag on your dyno numbers which is well within the rules of the forum.
It isn't my fault you make up numbers. Been to the dyno yet?

The problem is that I caught you making something up and you got bent out of shape and started cussing and making personal attacks instead of just reporting true numbers or saying you just don't know. all you had to do was be honest about it all.
Why should I care where you are from? Is Watts supposed to scare me?

It's honestly not a big deal.
He's putting 345hp LS1 5.7L in his sig. Well, that's what it came with in 1998 in the Vettes and F-bodies, even though it was underrated in the F-bodies. They both dyno the same stock.. around 290-300rwhp.
No harm.. no foul.

IMO thats as fictional as my sig. I was educated in science and work the chemical industry. Its either a real number that you can prove or its BS. Engineering is the same way.

By that reasoning everyone could say their LS1 equipped f-body ran 12.9X because someone else did, yet most people can't drive that well and not all Ls1's are even capable of it. See the point? There has to be a line drawn some where. IMO its at claiming unkown numbers.
Running your car at the track is completely different. I've seen LS1s run anywhere from mid 14s to high 12s stock. Hell, my cousin JUST got out of the 14s with his LS2 GTO after installing a CAI and a muffler... before those mods, he was running 14.20s. If you ask anyone else, it should be a low 13-second car bone stock. It all depends on driver skill and track conditions.
Why can't we all just get along?
