Wings West Body Kit Problems?

Guys,
I purchased a wings west body kit (w-type). I installed the kit the first time ($400.00) with their dual sided 3m tape. The front fashia came off... 3 days later the rear bumper started to come undone on the sides. I had the whole kit retaped by another body shop (tape supplied by Wings West) It looked perfect as it did the first time.... 10 days later the same problems were coming into play. Now I have a 2002 z28 with gaps in my body kit and wings west is telling me to spend another $400.00 because it was taped wrong. I am into this body kit now for over 2 grand. Now the only part of the kit I was impressed with (side skirts) is coming undone. MY CAR IS STOCK! ahhh

Anyone have similar issues?????

Sorry to hear about your bad luck, but I had the same freaking problem with a kit I had ordered. Pretty much a few weeks later the kit came loose from various spots. One simple solution to your problem and your kit will never come loose again. Buy EPOXY at an auto parts store, it will solve all your problems Every part of my groundeffects is now held by epoxy because that double sided tape did not work sh$$. So believe me glue them up with the epoxy and hold for a few minutes and your problem is solved. Good luck

I have the w-type kit for my 96. Had it installed about a month ago. Haven't had any problem with it yet. But thanks for the advise Buffdaddy. If mine starts coming loose I'm definitely going to permastick them on.

I'd would try the epoxy or some other kind of adhesive z28jeff. Sounds like the 3m tape aint worth a ****e.
