Will they work?
Will hooker headers for a 99 ls1 work on a 2000? I know its a different part number but what are the difference's?

Exactly, the newer cars had no emmisions hook up on the headers. There's no AIR or egr connectoins on the newer ones, this is the only difference.

Wrong. There is air hook ups on all years. The routing is just different. The 01-02 cars did not have EGR.

If they are race headers they will work. If not you'll have to twist the AIR tubes 90 degrees, buy the 99 tubes, or get block off plates and dump the AIR. The EGR is the same from 98 to 00.

00 has the same set up at 99, so yes they'll fit.

No it doesn't. The air tubes on a 2000 car, are different than on a 99 car. 2000 was its own year. 98-99 were the same, 2000 was weird, and then 01-02 was the same.
