Will these mods get me where I want to be.
Will these mods get me where I want to be.
Ok guy's I am looking to get the 1/4 ET's down in the low 13's maybe the 12's. I am running high 13's right now could be because this is the first year I have raced at the track, not much experience. I have the K&N FIPK and SLP Loudmouth (have not ran out at the track since I got this installed). I am going to be buying the following mods
3.73 gears (have 2.73 right now)
SLP Longtube Headers w/ off-road y-pipe
Hypertech Power Programmer 3
Hypertech 160 degree thermostat
B&M Tranny cooler
Vigalantie 3500 stall converter
LS6 Intake w/egr blockoff
NGK TR 55 Plugs
I am also hoping to get some kind of racing tires too. But with street tires and those mods. Just general estimation, I know it depends on driver, weather conditions and traction. Do you think I will be in the range I want to be. Thanks for the replies.

I'm guessing 12.7 also .......i ran my car at an 1/8 mile track when it was stock it ran 9.2 at 78 mph then i added the following mods and ran 8.8 at 82 mph w/ very bald street tires......I got new rims and tires since then.......american racing torque thrust II's 17x9.5
